In 1983 Bob and Cheryl felt the Lord’s direction in their lives to serve as missionaries overseas. After much searching a prayer they felt directed to New Tribes Mission. They began their formal training with NTM in August of 1984 when they were enrolled and were accepted as students at New Tribes Bible Institute in Jackson Michigan. Upon Graduation from N.T.B. I . They continued their training with NTM at their missionary training institute in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. This was a somewhat difficult phase of their life as after three and one half terms there they were asked to step out of the training , go home and see the Lord solidify them in some areas and needs the staff saw in their lives and marriage. They re-entered the NTM training at Jersey Shore a year and half later in January 1989. After successful completion of this second phase of NTM’s training they went on to the third phase of training at NTM’s Language Institute in Camdenton, Mi. They graduated from New Tribes Institute in May 1991. Bob holds a B.S in intercultural ministries from New Tribes Institute. Cheryl holds an Associate’s degree in Intercultural Ministries.
After two years of formal partnership development, they moved their family to Papua New Guinea to begin their service with New Tribes Mission in October 1993. Upon completion of Language and Cultural orientation they took over the management of the N.T.M. missionary guest house located on the field headquarters property named Lapilo. Lapilo is located just outside the town of Goroka in the heart of the Eastern Highlands Province. Bob and Cheryl continued in this ministry until they returned to the U.S.A. in answer to the Lord’s direction in their lives to begin Global Ministry Supply. During their years in Papua New Guinea they have seen and experienced first hand how difficult it can be to procure and ship much needed ministry and personal supplies to one’s foreign field of service. When one lives and ministers in a country where consistent access to necessary supplies is at best a continuing struggle; where prices of what you can access are extreme and your desire before the Lord to make the best use of His money, it is a tremendous blessing to have someone on the home end that can help fulfill these needs. This is their heartfelt passion from the Lord in starting Global Ministry Supply.

Global ministry Supply is a non-profit purchasing and shipping ministry dedicated to helping advance the Gospel message into all the world by providing low cost purchasing and shipping services to like minded Christian missionary and church ministries around the globe and in particular those that minister in places where easy and affordable access to needed supplies is difficult.
Our goal is to create a sustainable business model to help fulfill the material and supply needs of such organizations supported by Christian churches, Christian businesses and individual Christians who have a similar vision via monthly and yearly donations.
As our present level of financial support is insufficient to cover all of our operating expenses we will need to charge a modest fee for our services. It is our desire to, as the Lord provides, be able eliminate this charge so that our charges are only for the items purchased and the actual cost of shipping.
